CYCPLUS H2 Pro heart rate on iPhone

Beatcast verified

Updated

Short answer

The CYCPLUS H2 Pro works with Beatcast on iPhone. It sends the standard Bluetooth heart rate signal, so there is nothing to switch on. Wear it, open Beatcast, pick it from the sensor list.

Last checked: 15 October 2026. Tested on an iPhone 15 Pro Max with Beatcast 1.10.0.

Unit supplied by CYCPLUS for testing. No payment for the result.

What works, and what to expect

  • Works: the Bluetooth side. Beatcast connected, showed the live number and read the battery level. A reading came about every second, with no gaps in the test.
  • Shows up as: "CYCPLUS H2" followed by a number.
  • R-R intervals: the H2 Pro sends them too, in case you care about beat-to-beat data.
  • Connections: many straps accept only one Bluetooth connection at a time. We did not test how many the H2 Pro takes.

If another app has it

Many straps accept only one Bluetooth connection at a time. If another app or a bike computer holds it, close that first, then pick the strap in Beatcast.

The H2 Pro also speaks ANT+. An iPhone has no ANT+ radio, so Bluetooth is the side that counts here.

Read it on your iPhone

  1. Put the strap on, with the electrodes against damp skin.
  2. Open Beatcast and the sensor list.
  3. Pick "CYCPLUS H2" and start a session.

The number sits in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen while you use another app, or none.

If it won't appear

  • Close any other app and any bike computer that might have the strap.
  • Wet the electrodes and check the strap is snug against skin.
  • Give it a few seconds after putting it on.

The not connecting checklist covers the rest in order.

Questions

Does the H2 Pro work with an iPhone?

Yes, over Bluetooth. We ran it with Beatcast and it connected and sent a steady reading.

Can the CYCPLUS app and Beatcast use it together?

Many straps take one Bluetooth connection at a time, so plan on one. We did not test it.

Does ANT+ matter on an iPhone?

The iPhone has no ANT+ radio, so it does not come into it.

Good to know

Beatcast is not a medical device. It is built for training and general wellbeing, and it cannot detect, diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. If something about your heart worries you, talk to a doctor rather than to an app.
