CYCPLUS H1 armband heart rate on iPhone

Beatcast verified

Updated

Short answer

The CYCPLUS H1 armband works with Beatcast on iPhone. It sends the standard Bluetooth heart rate signal, so there is nothing to switch on. Wear it against bare skin, open Beatcast, pick it from the list.

Last checked: 15 October 2026. Tested on an iPhone 15 Pro Max with Beatcast 1.10.0.

Unit supplied by CYCPLUS for testing. No payment for the result.

What works, and what to expect

  • Works: the Bluetooth side. Beatcast connected, showed the live number and read the battery level. A reading came about every second, with no gaps in the test.
  • Shows up as: "H1_" followed by a number. The brand name is not in it, which is the one thing worth knowing before you scan.
  • No R-R intervals: the H1 reads optically and does not send them. That is normal for an optical sensor, and the live number is unaffected.
  • Battery: rechargeable. CYCPLUS states up to 110 hours.

Find it in the list

Open the sensor list and look for a name that starts with "H1_". If you have a few sensors around, put the band on first. The one that shows up is yours.

Read it on your iPhone

  1. Wear the band snug against bare skin, wherever you prefer on the arm.
  2. Open Beatcast and the sensor list.
  3. Pick the entry starting "H1_" and start a session.

Beatcast puts it in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen, so you can see it while you do something else.

If it won't appear

  • Search the list for "H1_". "CYCPLUS" will not be in the name.
  • Check the band is charged and sitting snug on skin.
  • Close the CYCPLUS app and anything else that might be holding it.

The not connecting checklist covers the rest in order.

Questions

Does the H1 work with an iPhone?

Yes, over Bluetooth. We ran it with Beatcast and it connected and sent a steady reading.

Why does the list say H1_?

That is the name the band advertises, a prefix and a number.

How accurate is it?

We did not test accuracy and make no claim about it.
